Basic Steps of a thorough home inspection:

  • Every Room - Wall, floor, paint, carpeting, windows, oversettleing and depressions.
  • Kitchen - Appliances, cabinets, countertops, electrical outlets, structure, surface conditions.
  • Bathroom- Sink, tub, and shower, toilets, plumbing, tiling, electrical outlets.
  • Basment - Structure, foundation, electrical panel, boiler and furnace heat exchanger, moisture and water signs, hot water heater, visible signs of pest infestation.
  • Attic - Insultation, ventilation, structure and rotting.
  • Exterior and Roof -Paint, siding, landscaping, decks, porches, out buildings such as garages, driveways, drainage around house, chimney, roofs which are safe will be climed to check for condition.
